Tullaghan is situated along the N15 at the northerly most tip of Leitrim, along leitrim’s 2.5 mile coastline. Sligo town is 31.8 km to the west of Tullaghan and the popular resort of Bundoran 3.4 km to the north.
History:
Tullaghan Cross - This is a 9th-10th century medieval stone cross which is erected along the N15. The celtic cross was discovered on the shore in 1778 and it is thought to be part of a long lost monastery.
